the band
SageBuzz are:
Yannick Hauser: Vocals, Guitar
Andreas Good: Backing Vocals, Bass
Simon Wettstein: Drums
The Story of SageBuzz began in 2003 with Simon Wettstein(drums) and Andreas Good(bass). Their musical careers started in the band Straight Stoned, where they played together and gathered their first stage experience. When the group splitted up in 2005, Wettstein and Good went their separate ways for a while.
Simon Wettstein on the lookout for a new formation, met with Yannick Hauser.
Through his creativity and musical experience Hauser bought a new dimension and style to the sound. An amalgamation of their musical styles, sound ideals and developing visions resulted, and they began to work together intensively.
Still missing was a Bass player; witch led Simon to introduce Good to some of their works. Good's interest was captured and what followed was the coming together of the Trio in 2007. In the time that followed the Band practised arduously and a bunch of songs where written and developed.
Hauser proved to be, besides his musical talents, an exceptional songwriter and composer and so already in the same year their first cd "Clean Chaos" was recorded by a friend. A name for the Band needed to be found as well -SageBuzz-
This namehas his root in the spontaneous love of sage tea, which "oils" needy vocal chords when required and has its healing effects in many practice sessions.
In the time that followed SageBuzz had various opportunities for live gigs, and already in 2008 the three band members introduced their second album "The Beauty in Pain", which was a live album from a gig in a place called "Die alte Kaserne" in Winterthur.
The style of their new songs were alternate between quiet melodious rock and energy driven grunge. In February of 2009 they went to record a 7 track EP in the well known Hard Studios in Winterthur, that will hopefully lead them to even more engagements.
The trio is looking forward to many new occasions to present their vibrant and moving live sound to their fans.
